I know I’m in the UK, and must be thusly penalized for not being an awesome American(and there are stupid copyright reasons too, I guess) but this really sucks. Gmail is a brand I like to be associated with, and “googlemail” sounds like Gmail’s retarded cousin. Nice enough, but not the real deal.
And so I tell people my address is @gmail.com, and they e-mail me there, and then receive replies from @googlemail.com and I can only assume they become apoplectic and suffer a sub-dermal haematoma. Whatever that is.
And then when I try to change my location, it won’t let me. And then when I use hotspot shield to get it to let me use “US” as my location field, and it changes, it still lists me as @googlemail.
In other news, 26,500 children around the world died today from poverty. So that happened.

Soooo anyone got a solution? Do I just make an account for her and hand it to her or what?

I’m looking at the “fag nation” link in the bookmarks bar more than anything.
